2009 Concert Assessment Festival Congratulations to the
Salem Senior Concert Band for their performance.
The band received straight First Division ratings from the three prepared program adjudicators along with a First Division rating in sight-reading.

Pep Band Schedule- Junior and Senior Concert Band Members
Pep band performances are required performances. If you know you must be absent please contact Mr. Cole at:

Notice should be given at least 24 hours in advance.
Before/Afterschool Practice Program-
This program allows students the luxury of not taking home their instrument. Students have three (3) options: 1. Choose to participate on a regular basis. 2. Choose to float (students choose the days they will practice by Thursday of the week before they will practice). 3. Choose not to participate and take their horns home each day.
Note- Percussion and Large Instruments are REQUIRED to practice twice per week.

Requirements for participants or floaters:
Students select any combination of 2 (two) days of the following:
Mornings (7:15-7:45 a.m.)
Evenings (3:15-3:45 p.m.)
Students are then not required to take their instruments home until Friday.
